[Explanation] In an alley in Huanggu District, Shenyang, there is a Chinese Idiom Seal Museum.

The 62-year-old Yang Guichen is the creator of this museum. The museum houses 9,000 stone idiom seals with a total weight of about 6 tons, and these idiom seals are all made by Yang Guichen.

  The content in this small showcase is very rich. There are Lu Xun's seal cutters, and my teacher Zhang Wang's seal cutters, as well as the tools I have used in seal cutting for decades. This is just a part of it.

From 1981, I used this dictionary of Chinese idioms, from mourning the soldiers to win all the way to stealing light, six thousand (idioms), according to it as the mother, I designed six thousand square idioms, this is my design The original design draft.

In 2011, I bought another 15,000-item idiom dictionary. Under the situation of comparing the old and the new, I completed another 3,000 new idioms.

  [Explanation] As a branch of seal carving art, idiom seals are a combination of idioms and seals, which existed as early as the Warring States Period.

Yang Guichen studied fine art with a famous teacher since he was a child, and later developed a great interest in seal cutting. In the process of learning seal cutting, he discovered that among the more than 10 seal cutting types, only the idiom seals were rarely spread, even to the point where they were on the verge of being lost. .

  The combination of idiom and seal comes from ancient times, but the spread of the audience is very small, and the paper and propaganda tools from the past are very scarce, so the people still know little about this idiom seal so far. .

  [Explanation] In order to pass on the idiom seal, Yang Guichen started the protection and propaganda work of the idiom seal in 1981. He deleted the complicated Chinese idioms in the text and prints and simplified them, and adjusted them uniformly.

In 2010, Yang Guichen made all the 6000 idioms in the "Chinese Idioms Dictionary" into idiom seals.

In 2011, Yang Guichen founded the Museum of Chinese Idioms and Seals and created a 120-meter-long "Chinese Idioms and Seals" scroll covering 7,200 square meters.

Through years of accumulation, Yang Guichen published China's first three-dimensional idiom dictionary "Chinese Idioms Yinpu".

In addition, he also promoted the idiom print extensively through media reports and exhibitions.

  With the birth of this idiom seal, I brought Chinese idioms and stamps into the campus. Now we go to elementary school, middle school and university to give lectures and lectures. Now through 10 years of hard work, we have nearly 300 to 500 children every year. Through learning idioms and idiom seals, it has been widely publicized.

  [Explanation] After more than 40 years of research and hard work, Yang Guichen has produced 9,000 idiom seals. For these idiom seals he created, he won the "World Record Certificate" issued by the World Record Association and became the world's seal carving idiom. The person with the most seals.

The public awareness of idioms is also gradually improving.

  Now we have peaches and plums all over the world, including those in Germany, Britain, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. The children have already blossomed and bear fruit on the seal idioms.
