Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, accepts a test developed by a local company to check for cancer risk using a fluid as a return item for hometown tax payment.
This test technology, which allows you to check the risk of cancer from a single drop of fluid, was developed by Tsuruoka City's venture company, Sulliva Tech, and determines the risk of developing five types of cancer, including lung cancer and breast cancer, in four stages.
The donation amount is 40,000 yen, and you can check the test results of the risk of getting cancer by collecting the sap with a special test kit that arrived at your home and sending it to "Sullivan Tech".
In addition to locally produced rice and dadacha beans, Tsuruoka City has been using this inspection technology as a reward for hometown tax payment on the Rakuten Furusato Tax Payment website, which has been dedicated to hometown tax payment since September last year.
According to the city, there were more than 300 applications in the nine months until June, so from June 1st, applications are being accepted on the new hometown tax payment site "Satoful".
Mayor Osamu Minakawa of Tsuruoka City commented, "I want you to experience the latest technology and support Tsuruoka City with your hometown tax payment."
