On June 9, Kunming, Yunnan, two Aldabra giant tortoises officially met with tourists at the Yunnan Wildlife Park.
According to the breeder, the Aldabra giant tortoise is a herbivore, which mainly feeds on plant stems, leaves, buds, etc. Each Aldabra giant tortoise eats about 10 kilograms of food a day.
The two tortoises at the Yunnan Wildlife Park are 25 years old, each weighing more than 100 kilograms.
