In addition to saving two hours with the shift of the curfew from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., cinemas, shows and concerts are increasing their gauges by 35 to 65%, with a limit of 5,000 people per room.

A real recovery, whereas the last few weeks have already shown the public's desire for culture, even in museums.

A real cultural recovery takes place this Wednesday: cinemas and theaters can once again welcome spectators until 11 p.m., at two-thirds of their capacity, with a gauge that goes from 35% to 65%, i.e. two seats out of three against one. seat on three as it was the case since May 19.

The last few weeks have already shown that the public's envy was there: Europe 1 gives you an overview of the first screenings, exhibitions and performances.

4 million spectators at the cinema

Most telling, it is the cinemas that have seen almost 4 million spectators throng since May 19.

Admittedly, the first week was the busiest and attendance dropped a little afterwards, but 200 films are still scheduled by August.

Many theaters and concert halls preferred to wait until June 9

However, the results are more mixed in terms of theaters: if some theaters have sold out in recent weeks, such as the theater 14 in Paris, or the national theater in Strasbourg, it was difficult for them to be profitable with a gauge of 35%. spectators.

Many preferred to wait until Wednesday, June 9, because they will be able to accommodate double!

Ditto for the concert halls: the Olympia reopens its doors tomorrow with the Inrocks festival, La Cigale with the singer Rover, the Palais des Sports, in Paris, will welcome Alain Souchon for 4 dates from June 22 to 25.

In addition, some 9,000 people also flocked to the Napoleon exhibition at the large Halle de la Villette in two weeks.

And at the Louvre, it was difficult to find a reservation slot.

The festivals are sold out

Finally, the first festivals await us in the coming weeks, from the Vieilles Charrues to the Festival d'Avignon, via the Francofolies de la Rochelle, which are already sold out on the dates of July 10 and 14 with Jean-Louis Aubert, Vianney or even Catherine Ringer.
