In Kitayama Village, Wakayama Prefecture, which is promoting vaccination not only for the elderly but also for people aged 16 and over because the vaccine has exceeded the population of the village, five people including high school students received the second vaccination on the 7th and hoped for it. All the inoculations to the residents have been completed.

In Kitayama Village, Wakayama Prefecture, one box of 975 vaccines was supplied, but since about 430 residents of the village will be able to inoculate twice, the target will not be limited to the elderly from May 10th. We were promoting inoculation to residents over the age of all at once.



On the 7th, five people, including high school students, visited the village clinic and received the second vaccination.



According to the village, all 318 people between the ages of 16 and 99 who wished to have completed the second vaccination.



A girl student attending a high school outside the village who finished the vaccination said, "My friends at school haven't been vaccinated yet, so I'll continue to wear masks."



Miwa Kawabe, chief of the Kitayana Village Hall Residents Welfare Division, said, "I am relieved that all the vaccinations have been completed. However, some people come from outside the village, so I will continue to take measures against infection."



The remaining 300 vaccines will be provided to neighboring municipalities through Wakayama Prefecture.
