The Marseille IHU denies the existence of a cluster among its staff

Has a cluster been formed among the staff of Didier Raoult's University Hospital Institute (IHU) in Marseille for lack of respect for barrier gestures?

In an article published on Monday,

affirms that seven people working at the IHU were contaminated by Covid-19 between mid-March and early April, including a technician placed in intensive care.

Contaminations which would be related to the fact that "most of the relatives of Didier Raoult do not wear the mask", according to an anonymous testimony cited by our colleagues.

, the IHU disagrees.

"We can not deny or confirm the information because of medical confidentiality, says one in the entourage of Didier Raoult.

But if we take as the definition of a cluster the contamination of several people by the same genome at the same place at the same time, then there was no cluster within the IHU.
