The American vice-president Kamala Harris is this Monday in Guatemala, before going to Mexico tomorrow.

The objective of his first international trip: to discuss the issue of illegal immigration, a thorny issue entrusted by Joe Biden last March.

With a record influx of migrants to the Mexican border in April, there is an urgent need to develop a migration policy.
