Priority vaccination of the new coronavirus vaccine for nursery school staff began on the night of the 7th in Fukuoka City.

Fukuoka City began inoculating approximately 8,500 nursery school staff, including nursery teachers, on the 7th, following the care workers who are the target of priority inoculation.

Nursery school staff visited the venue one after another from 7:00 pm before the start time, and were vaccinated after a pre-examination by a doctor.

Priority inoculation in Fukuoka City is carried out during the night time after the mass inoculation for the elderly is completed.

A nursery teacher who received the vaccination said, "I came after work. I am grateful for the vaccination at night because I have plenty of time."

Another nursery teacher said, "If we get infected, we will not be able to take care of our children, which will affect the lives of our parents, so we are grateful for the early vaccination."

In Fukuoka City, priority inoculation will be given to kindergarten staff from the 18th of this month, and to elementary and junior high school teachers at the Chuofuto Cruise Center in Hakata Port, which will be newly opened as a mass inoculation venue from the 21st.
