Although 88 fewer people than a week ago, it is the second highest number on Sunday, with infections under the age of teens accounting for about 20% of the total.



In order to stop the spread of infection among children, many schools in the prefecture have taken measures to temporarily close the school, and of these, four high schools in the northern part of the main island and remote islands where the spread of infection is not seen in prefectural schools. Except, the school will be closed from 7th to 20th.



Elementary and junior high schools will be closed from this week to 20th in 22 municipalities centered on the central and southern part of the main island. Of these, Itoman City, Kin Town, and Yaese Town will be closed from 7th.



In addition, Ishigaki City, which has issued its own state of emergency, has already taken measures to close the school from the 2nd to the 13th.



On the other hand, most other local governments in the northern part of the main island and remote islands usually go to school.
