In Egypt, one of the symbols of Egyptian repression, human rights activist Ramy Shaath, has been in detention for 700 days, almost two years.

Two hundred elected officials yesterday published an open letter to Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sissi to obtain the release of the political activist.

His wife, Céline Lebrun Shaath, answers Florent Guignard's questions.
