The Joker (Batman), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Sister Ratched (The Cuckoo's Nest) and Cruella de Vil (Pongo and the 101 Dalmatians) have their own movies and TV series where their background story is to be reviewed - how did they really become so evil?

- It is a very simple explanatory model: if you behave like this towards a human being, then he becomes like this.

It is an almost mathematical psychological development that is very easy to write.

- But basically it is about the film and TV companies wanting to raise money to create spin-offs on already well-known brands.
