A woman returned to her family 18 days after announcing her death due to complications from "Covid-19", as reported by the newspaper "NDTV".

The newspaper added that Muthyala Girijama's husband went to the Vijayawada Hospital in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, to check on his wife, but the nurses told him that she had passed away.

Muthyala Gadaya received his wife's body "covered inside a burial bag", as stipulated by health protocols in India, to then cremate her body, on May 15.

The family organized memorial rites for the "deceased" wife and her father, who died on the first of June.

The husband was surprised by a call on the second day of the memorial, with a call from the hospital administration stating that his wife had recovered from Corona and that the body that had been handed over to him, did not belong to Muthiyala!

Minutes later, the woman arrived at the family home after she thought that no one from her family would come to take her home, as she had stayed for more than two weeks without visiting any of them, and the hospital administration had to offer 3,000 Indian rupees to return home.
