Ten days have passed since the unconditional armistice agreement between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the Zionist entity, and we have not yet seen any Palestinian-Palestinian movement to exploit the results of the Battle of Sword of Jerusalem, and to agree on a new political project capable of finding a final and just solution to the Palestinian issue that puts an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people and achieves their aspirations and hopes.

This delay is wasting the golden opportunity currently available to get rid of the two-state solution and impose the one-state solution on the Zionist entity and the countries that support it.

Will the Palestinian forces hurry towards this solution so that the sacrifices do not go in vain, and the cycle of confrontation revolves without real success?

It is very important for the Palestinian resistance to possess the military force and to constantly develop and strengthen it, but this military force is not for itself, but rather in the interest of supporting a political project adopted by the Palestinian forces at home and abroad to solve the Palestinian issue, a project that is achievable within a specific time period, and capable of stopping the suffering of the Palestinian people and achieving His hopes and aspirations, and this can only be achieved in the current context in a one-state solution.

I expected that the previous ten days would be no less important than the days of confrontation with the Zionist entity in the battle of Jerusalem. I expected that they would be full of Palestinian-Palestinian movement internally and externally, in an extraordinary escalation of the intifada inside and outside Palestine, against the occupation and against the Palestinian Authority and against agreements of humiliation and submission. And against division, but none of this happened!

Are there preparations for that, or does the partisan and factional reality of the Palestinian forces and their internal and external connections prevent this?

The battle of the sword of Jerusalem from another angle

In the previous two articles, we talked about the different aspects of the Battle of Jerusalem from other confrontations that the Palestinian resistance fought in the Gaza Strip in previous times, and we discussed the implications of that, and the consequences thereof. The Palestinian street in particular, and the Arab and Islamic street in general, lived in most countries of the world for days full of intense emotions and warm emotions. Pride in what the battle of Jerusalem achieved, to the extent that some of them became as if they were around the corner from the gates of Jerusalem, and that the fall of the Zionist entity and the demise of its state is at the doors, and that its days are numbered, and that the world will turn its back on it and leave it facing its fate with the hordes of angry resistance without despair of it The Palestinian, Arab and Islamic street was inspired by many Qur’anic texts, prophetic hadiths, and the expectations of some leaders and thinkers, and the great international popular and elite sympathy with the Palestinian people and their cause accompanied the battle, which reinforced their sense of the imminent end of the state of the Zionist entity and the liberation of Palestine.Perhaps the Palestinian people in particular, and the Arab and Islamic peoples, had some excuse for these feelings and emotions that accompanied exceptional, partial moments of victory that were long forgotten by the defeated tyrannical regimes. However, this should not make us forget a number of facts related to the Palestinian issue and the conflict with the Zionist entity, foremost of which is:

  • That the emergence of the Zionist entity in its origin was a Western colonial establishment, and that the functional role of this entity still exists in the interest of Western countries, especially the United States, and that it will not abandon it, nor the role it plays in their interest.

  • That the Zionist entity does not take into account any decisions issued by international institutions, and has not implemented anything of them so far, and that the American veto represents a continuous protection for it against any decision.

  • That the military arsenal of the Zionist entity is superior to the Arab countries combined, and that what the Palestinian resistance possesses is not mentioned in front of this arsenal.

  • That the Zionist entity is capable of invading the Gaza Strip, destroying it, and forcing the Palestinian resistance out of its tunnels and leave the Gaza Strip, without any objection to it on the Arab, Islamic or international levels with more than condemnation, blame and denunciation.

  • That the Zionist entity stopped the attack on the Gaza Strip without conditions, for internal political reasons, and not because of its military defeat - as some call it - under the barrage of rockets of the Palestinian resistance, regardless of these political reasons.

  • That the head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in particular has been wanted for several years by the Palestinian Authority (with great regret), and by a number of Arab and Western countries, led by the United States of America, and that these countries are making great efforts from under and above the table, to get rid of “Hamas.” " At any price.

These and other reasons should not be forgotten when dealing with the results of armed confrontations with the Zionist entity, so as not to go too far in our understanding of the nature of the conflict with the Zionist entity, and the role of the Palestinian resistance in this conflict.

And that it be devoid of any lax, evasive, emergency or unrealistic measures, as this will make the project just a means to prolong the conflict, increase the rounds of war, and continue the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian issue between the political and the military

Having power is one thing, dominating power is another, having power is one thing, and managing power is another. The Soviet Union collapsed, which is the second largest country in the world, and it possesses enough power to destroy the globe several times. Hitler possessed the power, but was defeated by the worst defeat in front of the allies because he was carrying out an impossible project. Egyptian President Anwar Sadat possessed the power and achieved a partial victory over the Zionist entity in 1973 AD ended with a peace agreement with him that plunged the Arab region into a cycle of chaos from which it has not yet emerged, and China possessed power, but it fights its opponents economically and industrially, and Japan lost military power, but it excelled economically and technologically, and the black majority won the battle in South Africa and was liberated from the minority apartheid regime White without military force, but with will, determination, and a clear, defined vision. Many examples show us the importance of owning military power to secure political entities and their people and protect their decisions and development and progressive plans, but it is not the absolute guarantor of victory and stability. As for the hegemony of force and its dominance, or its mismanagement and disposition, it brings calamities, and dominates the political vision and its projects.

It is surprising to find that the Palestinian people, who are considered one of the most educated, experienced and hardest-experienced peoples in the world, and their political leadership are walking until today in the midst of their suffering without a political project. Than to take a step back, and trench in their positions at the ready.

golden opportunity

I mentioned in my previous article that the Palestinian cause knew 3 political projects for a solution, the one-state project rejected by the West and Zionism, the impossible two-state project, and the comprehensive liberation project for all of Palestine, which is the most impossible. A golden opportunity for the Palestinian people and their leadership to adopt the one-state solution and abandon all other solutions, but it is disappointing after the political rounds between Washington, the Zionist entity, Cairo, Ramallah and Gaza to establish the ceasefire and extend the armistice, and to rebuild what the Zionist entity destroyed in the Gaza Strip. The events are proceeding in sequence to repeat the previous cycle that we experienced in the years 2008 AD, 2012 AD and 2014 AD, and we find the Palestinian leadership in the West Bank and Gaza Strip moving between the impossible and the most impossible solution.
