  At that time, we were patrolling the road and found that there was a stone-like thing on the road. Then we stopped and we wanted to clean it up. When we got out of the car and looked at it, we found it was This animal with head and feet, and we also wanted to prevent it from being run over by the vehicle, we also took it away from the scene.

  The staff of the conservation center immediately handed it over to the Wuyuan County Forestry Department.

  This is a ratite, commonly known as the hawk-billed tortoise, is a national second-level protected wild animal. According to preliminary judgment, from its annual ring, it is at least 10 years old.

  It is understood that ratite turtles have ferocious temperament and mainly live in clear mountain streams. They feed on snails, shellfish, shrimp, fish, kun, snails, etc., and are typical carnivorous animals.

After observation, this ratite has no trauma and can eat independently. It is in good condition. The wild protection staff of Wuyuan County Forestry Bureau took it to Wuyuan National Forest Bird National Nature Reserve to release it.
