For four years, facing the British, he was the European Brexit negotiator.

His Brexit journal “

 La grande illusion

” has just been published by Gallimard editions.

Former Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Affairs, former European Commissioner, Michel Barnier is undoubtedly, on the right, the most European of all to the point of appearing isolated in his party "The Republicans" of which he nevertheless remains a faithful.

He likes to define himself as "patriotic and European".

What lessons does he learn from Brexit?

What is his vision of France in Europe and of Europe in the world?
