In the queue for the vaccination center at the Science Museum in London, there was a patient like no other on Friday.

Among those hiding Kate Middleton, who announced that she had received her first dose of vaccine on Twitter.

"I am extremely grateful to everyone playing a role in this deployment - thank you for everything you do," the Duchess of Cambridge wrote in her post.

Prince William's wife did not make a “Véran” by putting on a shirt and preferred to wear a white t-shirt, as can be seen in the photo posted on the Instagram and Twitter accounts of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

A royal family at the top of vaccination

Kate Middleton therefore received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine ten days after her husband.

Prince William shared the news last week, in a post similar to his wife's: “To everyone working on the immunization rollout, thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.

"

Kate and William are now among 38 million Britons to have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

In the country, 73.8% of the population received a first injection and 46.5% were fully vaccinated.

Among the members of the royal family, Queen Elisabeth II, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla are also protected from severe forms of Covid-19.
