Emilie Mazoyer receives Thursday in her program "Musique!"

DJ Martin Solveig, who is releasing a new version of the music video for his song "Hello".

This track appears on his ten-year-old album "Smash", as well as on the most recent one.

But the DJ announces that he is working on his new album right now.

INTERVIEW

Ten years and a double anniversary.

A decade ago, DJ Martin Solveig released the

hit

Hello

, a song to which he now offers a new version of his music video shot at Roland-Garros.

Still in 2011, Martin Solveig released his album

Smash

.

The DJ hasn't released any since.

"It's a bit of a scandal", he laughs Thursday at the microphone of Emilie Mazoyer in the program

Music!

, before making an announcement that ends the very long announcement of his fans.

An exit "maybe in 2023"

"In the meantime I released a lot, a lot of songs and I made lots of collaborations", defends Martin Solveig, who has indeed not been idle for ten years.

In addition to the many titles released in single format, he also launched Alma Studio, a podcast app for children.

"And it is true that the album format is particular. In 2021, we are not obliged to release albums. Nevertheless, it is not serious all the same to have waited so long", adds the DJ.

"I'm telling you: I started working on an album again. Because, all the same, at some point you have to stop the bullshit. It might happen in 2023, but there will be one."

We can bet that he does not wait another ten years to release the next one.
