Gao Congming, the third-generation inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage palm weaving in Shunqing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan. He has been engaged in palm weaving for more than 40 years. He can weave hundreds of items such as flowers, birds, fish and insects, birds and animals, hats, shoes, baskets, boxes, and cushions. There are tens of thousands of weaving works, including dragons 2-3 meters long, and various insects as small as a few centimeters.

During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, the new multiplying peasant women used palm leaf weaving slippers and sandals, which gradually formed a specialized industry; in the early years of the Republic of China, brown braided summer hats were popular in Sichuan; from the 1930s to the 1940s, the palm weaving industry flourished; in 2011, brown weaving Approved by the State Council, it was included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
