Regarding the Onagawa Nuclear Power Station Unit 2 in Miyagi Prefecture, where Tohoku Electric Power is aiming to restart, a group of residents of the local government has filed an appeal to the Sendai District Court not to operate it, saying that the evacuation plan in the event of an accident is ineffective. I woke it up.

Onagawa Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2 has been shut down since the Great East Japan Earthquake, but in November last year, Governor Murai of Miyagi Prefecture agreed to restart, and Tohoku Electric Power will restart after next year when safety measures are completed. I am aiming for.

Seventeen residents of Ishinomaki City, one of the local governments, appealed to Tohoku Electric Power on the 28th, saying that the evacuation plan formulated by the prefecture and the city was ineffective in the event of an accident. I brought it to the Sendai District Court.

According to the complaint, he claims that he cannot evacuate as planned due to traffic congestion and difficulty in securing an evacuation bus.

Regarding the evacuation of the nuclear accident, in March, the Mito District Court ruled that the Tokai No. 2 nuclear power plant would not be allowed to operate because of an inadequate evacuation plan.

Mr. Nobuo Hara, the leader of the plaintiffs, said, "I was encouraged by the decision of the Tokai No. 2 nuclear power plant. I am very anxious because the evacuation plan is based on the safety myth that an accident should not occur."

On the other hand, Tohoku Electric Power said, "I will refrain from commenting because the complaint has not arrived, but as soon as it arrives, I will check the contents and respond appropriately."
