According to the 6th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, a Japanese cargo ship and a Marshall Islands-registered cargo ship collided in the Seto Inland Sea off the coast of Ehime Prefecture before midnight on the 28th.
It is said that a Japanese cargo ship capsized in this accident and rescued 9 out of 12 people on board, but the Japan Coast Guard is searching because the whereabouts of 3 people are unknown.
