Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 27th that it was confirmed that 24 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The death of one patient was also announced.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture is 8801 including those who have already recovered, and the number of people who have died is 83.
