From June 9, the new health protocol for companies comes into force.

Among the measures to be put in place: "a minimum number of teleworking days per week" will have to be set by employers.

The text, in accordance with what the executive announced, will be discussed Monday by videoconference between the social partners and the Minister of Labor.

Since the end of October 2020, the national company protocol provided that, for employees who can perform all of their tasks remotely, "the working time carried out by teleworking is increased to 100%".

Since January, a “valve” has been added with the possibility of returning one day a week.

The return of employees must be gradual

Recalling that teleworking "can be considered as one of the most effective measures to prevent the risk of Sars-CoV-2 infection", the new protocol stipulates that "employers set within the framework of local social dialogue, a number of minimum number of teleworking days per week, for activities which allow it ”.

To set up an agreement on teleworking, employers can in particular draw inspiration from the national inter-professional agreement (ANI) which “constitutes a useful frame of reference” according to the text.

At the Ministry of Labor, it is stressed "that an employer who would ask all its employees to return to 100% as of June 9 would not apply the protocol".

The return of employees who were teleworking "must be done gradually", we insist.

Possibility of organizing pots

The State employer has already set 3 days of telework from June 9 for the public service. The draft text specifies that “audio or videoconference meetings should be favored”. "When they are held face-to-face, meetings must respect barrier gestures, in particular the wearing of a mask, ventilation / ventilation measures for the premises as well as the rules of distancing," he explains.

The protocol also restores the possibility of organizing "moments of conviviality bringing together face-to-face employees within the professional framework".

Suspended since the end of October, these jars "can be organized in strict compliance with barrier gestures, in particular the wearing of a mask in closed spaces, aeration / ventilation measures as well as rules of distancing".

For collective catering, the protocol refers to a specific sheet which will be updated in the coming days and will follow the rules applied in the restaurants.
