While calming the trapped people, the police instructed them to bend their legs and stick to the side walls of the elevator in accordance with safety regulations. At the same time, they cooperated with maintenance personnel to use iron collars, crowbars and other tools to speed up the demolition of the elevator doors.
After nearly 4 hours of emergency rescue, three trapped persons were successfully rescued.
