On the evening of May 26, a total lunar eclipse was staged in the night sky. When this total lunar eclipse occurred, it coincided with the fifteenth and the moon was located at the perigee, so it was also called the "super red moon" by astronomers.

According to experts, this "super red moon" is very rare. The next total lunar eclipse visible in China will have to wait until November 8, 2022.

However, not all areas in China can see a total lunar eclipse, and only partial lunar eclipses can be seen in some areas.
