The Central Propaganda Department recently decided to posthumously confer the title of “Model of the Times” by Academician Peng Shilu, a well-known nuclear power expert and the first chief designer of Chinese nuclear submarines.
From China's first-generation nuclear submarine, to the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant, and to the Qinshan Phase II Nuclear Power Plant, Peng Shilu has devoted a lot of effort to it and is known as the "pioneer bull" of China's nuclear power industry.
