  Pang Lei, a staff member of the Sanya Haichang Biological Conservation Center who participated in the on-site rescue, introduced that the dolphins were found to be carried by waves to the sea about 300 meters from the shore through aerial photography. In order to guide the dolphins to the shore for the next rescue, two divers were arranged to rescue the dolphins ashore.

According to field assessment, the dolphin is breathing slowly and is dying.

Rescuers immediately administered intramuscular injections of antibiotics and sedatives, and at the same time they were subjected to blood sampling and trauma treatment.

During this period, the staff has been spraying water on the surface of the dolphin to keep its body moist.

Unexpectedly, the dolphin experienced convulsions, so he was immediately subjected to emergency operations such as cardiac resuscitation, chest compressions, and epinephrine injections for about 10 minutes. The dolphin's pupils gradually dilated and eventually lost vital signs.

With the consent of the local fishery administration department, on May 26, the staff of the Institute of Deep Sea Science and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the staff of the Sanya Haichang Biological Conservation Center found that the dead dolphins were severely malnourished, the fat content was lower than normal dolphins, and the lungs appeared. Lesions are accompanied by bleeding; there is a small amount of sea cement sand in the gastric tract.

It is preliminarily determined that the dolphins are choking water, and the death is related to organ failure caused by lung disease.

  Experts remind: If people find cetaceans stranded in the sea, they should notify the relevant local departments as soon as possible. Before the professional rescue team arrives, they should straighten the dolphins and keep them in a safe zone.
