The reporter learned from the Information Office of Dongning City Government in Heilongjiang Province that on the morning of May 26, 2021, an explosion occurred in Dongning Huasheng Economic and Trade Co., Ltd.
As of 20 o'clock, the search and rescue work was over.
The explosion caused 8 deaths and 4 injuries. All the wounded have been sent to hospital for treatment.
After preliminary investigation by the public security organs, the incident was an explosion caused by the illegal manufacture and storage of explosives by the legal representative of Huasheng Company for the purpose of using the coal mine operated by him.
After the incident, various departments of Dongning City did their best to do on-site rescue, wounded treatment, personnel comfort and aftermath disposal.
