Police in Guildford, New Hampshire have announced a valid arrest warrant for rock musician and actor Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Hugh Warner).

He is accused of assaulting a videographer during a concert in the city in August 2019.

“Guildford City Police have a valid arrest warrant for Brian Hugh Warner, also known as Marilyn Manson, in connection with two cases of minor injuries.

The warrant is related to an incident at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in 2019, ”the police said in a statement posted on the unit's Facebook page.

According to the report, Manson was previously informed about the issuance of the warrant, but since then neither he nor his representatives have shown up in New Hampshire to answer the charges.

If the charges are confirmed, Marilyn Manson faces imprisonment for less than one year and a fine not exceeding $ 2,000.

Marilyn Manson's lawyer Howard King, speaking to NBC News, called the accusations absurd.

He recalled that his client often behaves provocatively on stage, especially in front of the camera.

In addition, according to the lawyer, Manson's damage to the operator has not been proven.

“The offense case got underway after we received a demand from the site's videographer to pay more than $ 35,000 for getting a little saliva into his hands.

We asked for proof of the alleged damage, but did not receive a response, ”says Howard King.

At the same time, according to the classification of offenses in the state of New Hampshire, the definition of insignificant administrative offenses of class "A", in which Marilyn Manson is accused, includes causing material damage in the amount from $ 100 to $ 1000, assault without aggravating circumstances, possession of a small quantities of prohibited substances and stalking.

Guildford police emphasize that the alleged attacks are not sexual in nature and have nothing to do with other charges against him.

At the end of April, the performer of the role of the prostitute Ros in the TV series "Game of Thrones" Esme Bianco filed a lawsuit against Marilyn Manson.

The actress claims that over the course of her long-term relationship with the musician, she was subjected to physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse.

Manson's former manager Tony Chiulla was also charged.

According to Esme Bianco, he violated the human trafficking law.

The actress claims that in 2009 she was persuaded to come from London to Los Angeles to shoot a video, which, as it turned out later, was not in production.

Instead, she had to stay at Manson's house.

There she was forced to walk in underwear, was not allowed to eat or sleep, and was given alcohol and drugs.

According to Bianco, Chiulla followed her during Manson's absence.

Actress Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld, Mildred Pierce) also made accusations against the musician.

In 2016, she reported that she had been subjected to domestic violence and had been raped twice, but did not give specific names.

However, on February 1, 2021, Wood announced that her rapist was Marilyn Manson.

“He started courting me when I was a teenager, and his abuse of me continued for years.

By brainwashing and manipulation, he achieved my submission, ”the actress wrote on her Instagram page.

Soon, four more women announced on social networks that they were victims of Marilyn Manson.

They said that the musician held them against their will and subjected them to physical and psychological abuse.

According to the prosecutors, after the experience, they suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Due to the scandal, the record company Loma Vista has stopped the promotion of the new album by Marilyn Manson and has refused further cooperation with the musician.

In addition, the episode with the artist was removed from the horror anthology "Kaleidoscope of Horror", and the authors of the series "American Gods" decided to cut scenes with his participation from the series, which was preparing for the screening.

Marilyn Manson responded to allegations of violence against him.

He said that he entered into an intimate relationship exclusively by mutual consent, and all the scandalous statements in his address were "a disgusting distortion of real events."
