“A real estate consultant accredited by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency in Dubai!” ... Sorry, Your Excellency, the advisor, I did not know that the institution grants this status to anyone who has registered with the Land and Property Department, to train and obtain a license to practice real estate brokerage activity, according to Regulation Law No. 85 of 2006 Regarding the regulation of the real estate brokers' registry in the Emirate of Dubai, and coming up with a job title “real estate broker” that gives him the right to mediate in the sale, purchase and rent of real estate, and to facilitate these operations between the parties to the real estate relationship .. I did not know that this law granted him the status of “real estate consultant”, and did this Law to this kind of label?

Above all, does everyone who owns a "licensed real estate broker" card from the Land Department have the right to call himself a "real estate consultant"? And before he calls himself this name on social media platforms, is he knowledgeable and fully aware of matters Real estate brokerage even go this way? How many years of experience does he have in the field of mediation, which is mainly based on finding the two parties to pledge allegiance, according to what is contained in the law and legislation on the tasks of mediators?

What the brothers working in this field overlook until now is their lack of understanding of the idea that real estate consultancy is a specialized profession that requires specific controls and standards from its owner to practice it, and that their lack of familiarity with these standards and standards of professional real estate consultancy harms the market, considering this profession is an important window in the world of real estate investment And among the basic steps to enter the field of investment and purchase of real estate, and among the factors contributing to the real estate market control processes, and to contribute to the balance of supply and demand, by creating products that the market needs and suit the demand, and every person has no right to seize the name of this profession without knowing it rightly. And master their controls.

The question is: Are there laws controlling these practices that are spreading, especially on social media platforms?

The Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) must act and tighten control over this category that has spread across various platforms, without being aware of their practices that negatively affect the market and harm them more than their benefit, especially in terms of confidence in the sector, noting that we have more than 5,700 registered real estate brokers. The department, and not the 5700 named "real estate consultant", most of them lack the competence and standards of the real estate consultancy profession, as a special activity that has nothing to do with real estate brokerage.
