Today, songwriter, artist and Nobel laureate Bob Dylan turns 80. Sweden's (possibly unanswered) love for him became perhaps clearest when he received the literature prize in 2016, but it is also noticeable in the music. In honor of the day, Kulturnyheterna lists some of the countless Dylan interpretations in Swedish music history.
Sweden's most famous Dylan interpreter is of course Mikael Wiehe who translated over 50 of Bob Dylan's songs into Swedish.
But he is far from the only Swede to pay tribute to the songwriter.
