The curtain fell on Ligue 1 football yesterday.

Lille kept Paris Saint-Germain at bay until the end to win the league title.

This sports verdict comes at the end of a chaotic season to say the least between the Covid-19 pandemic which emptied the stadiums and the Mediapro industrial accident of French football TV rights.

Many clubs find themselves in financial difficulty and the future is far from assured.

What economic model for French football?
