The rapper Black M distinguishes the culture of the clash in the rap in France and in the United States, at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff and her band in the emission "It makes good", where he was invited to present his EP "Alpha ", which will soon be followed by two others, which will eventually form a single new album.

INTERVIEW

Black M is a great lover of French rap.

Except perhaps when it comes to clash culture, which he appreciates more in the way it is embodied in the United States.

The rapper explains Monday at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff in the program

It makes good

this distinction he makes between the culture of the clash in American rap and that of French rap.

"Among American rappers, I really like clashes," he explains.

"Well, not when it goes to fatal outcomes, of course."

“I know the Americans are making a business out of it,” Black M. does not hide. “For example, in a very long time ago, Jaz-Y and Nas were in a clash. And finally, they finally reconciled and they have does something commercial with a song. "

"More ego" in France than in the United States?

And it is this way of using their rivalry to feed their works that Black M appreciates.

"The culture of the clash in the United States remains only artistic", analyzes it.

"For example, Eminem clasps other rappers, he is very sharp, he hits very hard, but it's only artistic. It doesn't go any further."

Which is not necessarily the case in France.

"There is a lot more ego, maybe. And when it goes far and it ends in airports, unfortunately," said Black M, referring to the fight in the hall of Orly between Booba and Kaaris.

"And it's not good for the image of rap in France, because it shows bad things."
