The production of new floats, which are scheduled to be operated at the summer festival "Goshogawara Tachineputa", which represents the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, is coming to an end.

The large floats scheduled to be newly operated at this summer festival were suspended last year because the summer festival was canceled due to the influence of the new corona, and work was resumed in February this year.

On the floats, the main character of the work, Kamakura Gongoro Kagemasa, is drawn based on the theme of "Temporary", one of the eighteenth Kabuki.

At the Tachineputa Museum in Goshogawara, three city officials and creators, Akinori Tsuruya, are working on it.

The three continued the work of "wax writing," in which lines were drawn on Japanese paper with a brush with melted wax, and the work of pasting Japanese paper on the skeleton and applying red dye to the part that would be the kimono.

The production of Taketa Tachibana is about 80% advanced, and next month, I will assemble it after drawing facial expressions and aim for completion in July.

The creator, Mr. Tsuruya, said, "The color scheme is similar to that of real Kabuki. It's been two years since Tachineputa, so I want you to make a beautiful work and have everyone see it."
