Wallin's controversial book "All That Was Mine" was published by Memo, which was sued by the person accused in the book of rape.
The trial on the defamation charges would have started on May 31, but the lawsuit is thus withdrawn.
- It was really completely unexpected, Wallin says to Verdens Gang and states that she has previously rejected a request for conciliation.
Wallin was convicted in 2019 by the Stockholm District Court of libel because she named the person she accuses of rape on social media.
The punishment then became a conditional sentence and damages.
The verdict has been appealed.
In December last year, the Chancellor of Justice decided to investigate whether Wallin had committed a press freedom violation through the publication of "Allt som var mitt", which she published in Sweden on her own.
