This mass inoculation was carried out by the Japan Sumo Association at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, as a venue.



In addition to the elderly people aged 65 and over who lived in Sumida Ward selected by lottery, about 240 people visited, including former Ozeki Asashio's Nishikishima master and former Yokozuna Mienoumi's former Musashikawa master.



Visitors were vaccinated at the booth near the front entrance following body temperature measurements and interviews.

A woman in her 70s who was vaccinated said, "I feel relieved when I get the vaccine. It was my first time at the Kokugikan, but I was able to feel the wonderfulness."
