On May 23, a paper-cutting art event was held here in the Metro Digital Art Museum at the Chaowan Town Metro Station in Changsha City.
The paper-cutting teachers and "Little Paper-cutting Experts" from Changsha have creatively created the "Father of Hybrid Rice" Yuan Longping and Rice Ears to pay tribute to Yuan Longping.
In the work, the golden and full ears of rice symbolize Yuan Longping's outstanding contribution to human food production, and the red auspicious clouds are intended to convey grief.
According to reports, after the event organizer Hunan Normal University's Art Education Research Base learned about Yuan Longping's death, the organizers rushed to produce these special paper-cut works.
"A person is like a seed, to be a good seed." Under the leadership of the teacher, the young experts inherited Yuan Longping's spiritual "seed" as Yuan Longping once said.
