18 newly confirmed cases in 31 provinces are all imported cases

According to the website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 18 new confirmed cases from 0-24 on May 23, all imported from abroad. Cases (3 cases in Shanghai, 3 cases in Guangdong, 3 cases in Sichuan, 2 cases in Shaanxi, 1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Inner Mongolia, 1 case in Heilongjiang, 1 case in Jiangsu, 1 case in Fujian, 1 case in Hunan, 1 case in Gansu); Death case; 1 new suspected case is an imported case (in Shanghai).

　　Eight new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, and 763 close contacts were released from medical observation. The severe cases were the same as the previous day.

　　There are currently 294 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 3 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

A total of 5970 confirmed cases, a total of 5676 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on May 23, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 325 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases), a total of 86,030 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths. A total of 90,991 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 3 suspected cases.

A total of 1019971 close contacts have been traced, and 6,308 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 18 imported from abroad, 4 locals (3 in Guangdong, 1 in Liaoning); 2 confirmed cases on the same day ( All were imported from abroad); 8 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (7 cases imported from abroad); 388 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (363 cases imported from abroad).

　　A total of 16,204 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Among them, 11,832 cases were in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (11,553 cases were discharged, 210 cases died), 50 cases were in Macau Special Administrative Region (49 cases were discharged), and 4322 cases were cases in Taiwan (1133 cases were discharged, 23 cases died).
