Posting a number of microblogs insulting the four academicians and experts who died recently, causing adverse social impacts, the investigation was carried out in conjunction with the Huli Sub-bureau.
At about 22:00, the police arrested Wang Mouxiong (male, 30 years old) in a KTV in Huli District.
At present, Wang Mouxiong has been taken criminal coercive measures by the police in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation.
The police stated that heroes should not be desecrated and cyberspace is not a place outside the law. Public security organs will severely investigate and punish any acts of blatant slander and insult to heroes and martyrs.
