Party committees and governments at all levels have adopted a series of work measures to ensure that people in the disaster-stricken areas have food, clothing, temporary safe shelter, clean water to drink, and timely treatment of illnesses and no epidemics.

  Yang Xiaopeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Yangbi County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate, said that at present, the county's market is in stable order, and the markets are operating well. Supermarkets and farmers' markets can buy a variety of food, vegetables and daily necessities, and no food and drug safety incidents have occurred.

Currently, there are 174 available beds in medical institutions in the county, and 263 medical staff can be deployed.

The 13 gas stations in the county are operating normally, with sufficient oil products to ensure supply.

  Yang Xiaopeng said that 405 emergency shelters were set up throughout the county, 68,363 temporary shelters were resettled, and 25,942 people were relocated.

The county has a social welfare center with a total of 10 people, all of which have been dispersed and resettled.

  According to statistics, as of 11 o'clock on the 22nd, 14,122 houses in Yangbi County were damaged, of which 232 were collapsed. Most of the collapses were distributed within a radius of 5 kilometers from the epicenter of the earthquake (most of them were production houses for farmers and uninhabited dilapidated houses). 13930 houses were severely and slightly damaged (all houses in 9 townships in the county were involved).

There are 222 housing safety emergency assessment experts in the provinces, prefectures and counties, divided into 70 housing construction safety emergency assessment teams, and went to all towns and villages in the county to carry out emergency safety assessment and appraisal work for disaster-stricken rural households.

  In terms of damage to water conservancy facilities, 65 villages and 1 community in Yangbi County were affected to varying degrees. The total number of affected people in the county was about 15,000 households and 57,000 people.

After investigation and repair, the repair work of the water supply project in the market town is progressing steadily, and the water supply function is basically restored.

  After rush repairs, the water supply in the county is now back to normal.

As of 15:00 on the 22nd, 7 10kV distribution network lines have been restored to power; 2 of the 10kV medium voltage distribution network equipment has been damaged, and it has been processed normally and the power supply has been restored.

There were 101 base stations damaged and damaged by the earthquake, and 98 base stations have been restored through rush repairs day and night.
