Damiano David of Eurovision winner Måneskin is tested for drugs to disprove all rumors that he would have sniffed coke on the screen.

The EBU, which organizes the Eurovision Song Contest, announced this in a statement on Sunday.

The singer of the Italian rock group seemed to be sniffing coke in the so-called 'green room'.

He leaned forward to the table and snorted.

The video was widely shared on social media.

According to EBU, there were no drugs present in the 'green room' where the candidates awaited the scoring.

A glass would have been broken at the Italy table and the singer would have cleared this glass.

EBU has launched an investigation and found that a broken glass was indeed found.

EBU is further examining the images and will come up with more information later, the statement says.

Måneskin won the song festival on Saturday with their song

Zitti E Buoni
