Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 23rd that it was confirmed that 23 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It is the first time since March 27 that the number of infected people per day in Nara Prefecture has fallen below 30.
The prefecture also announced that two men, a man in his 90s in Kawai and a man in his 80s in Kammaki, had died after being confirmed infected.
Infection was confirmed in 7607 people in the prefecture, and 104 people died.
