On the afternoon of the 23rd, a local bus that was operating in a residential area of Nara City broke out and burned violently.

Passengers and drivers were evacuated shortly before and were safe, and police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire.

Around 2:30 pm on the 23rd, passengers noticed a burning smell inside the Nara Kotsu route bus that was running in the residential area of Tezukayama, Nara City, and told the driver.

When the driver stopped at the nearest bus stop and confirmed, it was that smoke was coming out from the rear of the car body.

For this reason, about 6 passengers also evacuated to the outside of the bus, but immediately after that, a fire broke out and it burned violently.

There were no injuries to passengers and drivers.

According to the police, the part under the seat at the back of the bus where the wiring is concentrated burns violently, so police and fire departments are investigating the cause by assuming that a fire broke out from this area.
