According to the latest report from Public Health France published on Wednesday, 19,050 new cases of covid-19 have been declared in the last 24 hours, against 21,498 last Wednesday.
In critical care services, less than 4,000 patients are listed, which has not happened for two months.
While France is returning to terraces and cultural places, the number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care units continued to drop on Wednesday, falling below the 4,000 mark, with 3,862 patients in critical care (or 153 fewer than Tuesday).

The number of patients in critical care services remained around 5,900 to 6,000 during the second half of April, the peak of the third wave, before falling sharply since early May.
Drop in hospitalizations, nearly 10 million people fully vaccinated
The total number of people hospitalized for Covid-19 is 21,347, against 22,058 the day before.
France now has 108,210 deaths in total since March 2020, or +141 in 24 hours.

In addition, nearly 10 million French people are fully vaccinated. 21,555,516 people received a first injection and 9,260,992 two injections, according to the Directorate General of Health. The government is targeting 30 million first injections by mid-June.
