Europe has gradually started to reopen and 3,500 people are admitted to the Ahoy arena in Rotterdam per performance.

This means that you use 20 percent of the arena's capacity.

For Tusse, this means that during the rehearsals he had to perform Voices for a real audience for the first time after standing in empty intermediate arenas during the spring.

He compares to the favorite movie The greatest showman when one of the characters meets his audience for the first time and starts singing.

- You hear the cheers of the audience and it's so damn powerful - and that was exactly how it felt, he says.

"Am I getting deaf now?"

During yesterday's rehearsals - those judged by the juries - three countries had so many problems with the hearing that they had to appear again.

Tusse had similar problems during the first Monday rope.

- For me, they had raised to the max, so I heard everything.

It was awful, "will I be deaf now"?

- I was a little annoyed when I was on stage and it went wrong for me, I was like this: "Is there no one who understands, is there no one who can fix it?".

But it's just giving everything anyway, it has only happened to me once, the rest of the times have gone very well.

Decreases in favorite lists

Since all the artists have performed live during the rehearsals at the beginning of the week, the favorite lists have changed slightly.

Italy has sailed up as a new possible favorite, while Tusse slipped down from the top ten.

But Tusse seems unaffected by favorite speculations ahead of the evening.

- I do not care.

I see these three minutes as being able to enjoy with the dancers, the viewers and feel the love on stage, he says.
