The Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation (Tatweer), affiliated to the Rubu Qarn Foundation for the Industry of Leaders and Innovators, concluded part of its training programs for the month of March 2021, which included “Archery and Archery” and “Survival Skills in the Wilderness”, in order to fulfill its mission of discovering, developing and investing the energies of generations In an Emirati environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, by designing and implementing future-oriented programs, activities and events, in cooperation with local and international partners.

On Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, a group of young people, of both sexes, participated in the first "survival skills program" of its kind in the country, launched by the Foundation as part of a series of life skills programs, in cooperation with Bear Grylls Explorer's Camp, which includes a team of Trainers and experts in learning the basics of wilderness survival.

Participants were introduced to life-saving skills and various methods, such as working under pressure, using the resources available to them, how to search for food and drink, methods of setting fire, as well as teamwork, cooperation in establishing emergency shelters, skills of using ropes and climbing, knowing directions, and others. Of skills.

Another group of the Foundation's associates participated in the "Archery and Archery Program", as part of a series of sports programs, in cooperation with the Archery Academy at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. Over a period of two months, the participants will learn the shooting mechanism and safety rules, with the aim of enhancing their competitive skills and developing the player's willpower. , Time management, patience, and attention to detail.

The Acting Director of the Sharjah Foundation for Capacity Development, Khaled Ibrahim Al-Nakhi, confirmed that these training programs come within the framework of Tatweer’s keenness to support the capabilities of young Emirati leaders, develop and enhance their skills, and activate their role.
