For the fourth time in eight days, the UN Security Council is due to meet this Tuesday (May 18, 2021) to try to find a solution to the new round of violence between Israel and Palestinian groups, which has 220 dead since May 10.

So far, the United Nations has been unable to come to an agreement, with Washington still refusing the adoption of a joint declaration calling for an end to the violence.
