A donor sponsoring 13,000 dirhams to renew Najat’s health card

A donor with the help of Najat (71 years) paid 13,125 dirhams for the cost of renewing the health insurance card she needs, as she suffers from several diseases, including kidney failure, heart, diabetes and pressure, and needs to take her medication constantly until her health condition stabilizes.

The "hotline" coordinated between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai to transfer the amount to renew the patient's health card.

On May 11th, Emirates Today published the story of Najat’s suffering with the chronic diseases that she suffers, and her inability to obtain the amount of renewing the health insurance card, given the difficult financial conditions she is going through.

"Najat" expressed her happiness and deep thanks to the donor, and stood by her suffering, noting that the news of the donation made her very happy.

Najat tells the story of her suffering to Emirates Today, saying: “I am in the seventh decade of my life, and years ago, I had kidney failure due to the chronic diseases that I suffer, which are heart disease, diabetes, and pressure. I was admitted to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, where I underwent dialysis sessions. Due to my poor health, and the health insurance card covered the cost of my treatment, knowing that I have lived with my son in the country for nine years, and I only move by wheelchair, which made me a burden on family members, and I am currently lying in Tawam Hospital, after I underwent an operation Surgical ».

And she continued, "I used to go to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and the doctors admitted that I needed monthly medications, in addition to dialysis sessions, which are expensive in relation to my family's modest financial capabilities. What prevents me from treatment is the renewal of the health card."

She added: “My son is my only breadwinner, and he works in a shop with a salary of 6000 dirhams, from which 1660 dirhams per month goes to rent the house, and the rest is for life’s expenses and requirements. ».

She indicated that her problem is getting more difficult day by day, as the pain and danger to her life increases because of her urgent need for dialysis and medication, especially since she is elderly and suffers from other diseases.
