French President Emmanuel Macron welcomes General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Sovereign Council of Sudan and Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdock to Paris today, on the occasion of the International Conference in Support of the Sudanese Transition.

Representatives of the World Bank and the IMF are also expected.

It is a question of attracting investors and helping to erase the foreign debt of this country, which was once banished by the international community.

Support that Sudan needs the most, as explained Raphaëlle Chevrillon-Guibert, Researcher at IRD, the Research and Development Institute, and associate researcher at the CNRS Research Center in Khartoum.
