A donor pays 36,000 dirhams for the treatment of "Umm Maram"

A donor paid 36,169 dirhams for the treatment of “Umm Maram - 47,” who suffers from a narrowed coronary artery and needs a cardiac catheterization at Al Qasimi Hospital in Sharjah.

The "hotline" coordinated between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai to transfer the donation amount to the patient's account at the hospital.

The patient expressed her happiness and deep thanks to the donor, and stood with her suffering, in light of the difficult circumstances that she is going through, noting that the donation brought joy to her heart.

On May 5, Emirates Today published the story of Umm Maram's suffering with coronary artery narrowing, and her need to undergo a cardiac catheterization, which cost her 36,169 dirhams, and she lives on the aid of charities in the country with her family of four Children, after her husband died in 2019 and left her without a breadwinner.

And (Umm Maram) previously told the story of her suffering with the disease, saying that the disease began in 2018, when she complained of severe pain in her chest, which she thought was normal, and it was increasing day after day, until she decided to go to a private hospital, and tests and examinations showed that she had a stroke in Heart, and catheterization must be performed as soon as possible.

And she continued: “Because of our poor financial capabilities, I decided to travel to Syria, to undergo the operation, and after my health condition stabilized, I returned to the country, to be near my family, but during the current year I experienced similar symptoms, and I fainted, and immediately my daughter called an ambulance, who transferred me to Al Qasimi Hospital In Sharjah ».

She added, "The tests and analyzes that were conducted for me in the hospital showed that I suffer from heart health problems, and I need to undergo cardiac catheterization, and the doctor told me the need to speed up the operation."

Umm Maram indicated that after knowing the cost of her treatment, which she is unable to, she felt that her life was in danger, and that she would not be able to continue performing her duty towards her family members, as she was the only provider for them after the death of their father.
