At about 9 pm on May 15th, Wuyuan, Jiangxi, was hit by a tornado, causing trees to break in many places and sections, and thousands of residents cut off power.

Next to the Gutan School in Dazhanshan Township, Wuyuan County, a camphor tree more than ten meters high was uprooted and fell on the side of the road.

The tornado also caused damage to many electrical facilities in Dazhanshan Township, and thousands of residents were out of power.

The partially collapsed trees directly pressed on the electric wires and electric poles, and several electric poles were broken by the wind and fell into the river.
